Rare double monumental desk silver inkstand in 800 silver by Peter Bruckmann & Sohne (Heilbronn, Germany), dating to the late 19th century (c. 1850–1900), with a shell-shaped base, a central classical female figure with laurel crown, winged eagle feet, two original crystal bottles with worked silver collars and caps (one cap may be missing), a percussion bell mechanism, two hand-engraved oval plaques dated 11 December 1857 and 11 December 1892, and in good condition with an aged patina; weight 845 g without bottles and 145 g for the bottles. Width: 30 cm. Height: 21 cm. Era: 1400-1900. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes.
