Antique French sugar serving scoop in solid 800 silver, sculpted as a deeply fluted scallop shell and made by Eugène Roussel-Doutre in Paris during the Napoleonic III period (circa 1849–1865); approx. 19 cm long, 6 cm wide, 1.5 cm high, 33 g, with French Minerva head 800/1000 hallmark, maker’s mark ROUSSEL in a horizontal lozenge, and a Belgian control/import mark.
