French Napoléon III desk double inkwell, dating circa 1875–1885, with a dark green veined marble base and richly gilt bronze fittings in a neoclassical Louis XVI style, 17 cm high, 30 cm wide, 17 cm deep, in good condition with age-related wear to the gilding and minor patina on metal; two lids and two inner reservoirs are present. Material: Bronze (gilt/silvered/patinated/cold painted), Ceramic, Marble. Era: 1400-1900. Condition: Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes. Origin: France.
